| Everything in this painting was done with a pallet knife except for the skiier. He was done with a brush. The pallet knife provides a rich, heavy texture behind the skiier and pushes the background a little further back while contrasting with the smooth presentation of the skiier. I have always loved to ski and this is the way I've always wanted to look. Thats the wonderful part of being and artist and having a vivid imagination. |
